Jean is a tap dancer, teacher and choreographer from Ottawa, Ontario. She began dancing at the age of 5 where she studied extensively in various genres of dance completing Advanced level examinations with ADAPT and Royal Academy of Dance.
As a professional dancer, she has been hired for corporate and private functions under McDonalds, TD, IIFFT and So Danca. She was a featured dancer in Dean Brody’s music video ‘Canadian Girls’ and danced in a spotlight episode of ‘The Next Step’ alongside performing company Bringing Tap Back.
She has choreographed for live productions with local musicians at Ottawa Reggae Festival and a special performance by Weird Al Yankovic at the Ottawa Exhibition. She is honoured to work with young artists and share her knowledge and love for tap dance across Ontario and Quebec.
